Profile-specific jpeg problems

Hi folks,

We have a strange problem in which those with
Administrator rights can open jpegs, but users can't.
They get a message saying the file type/mime type cannot
be found in registry.

We think this may be profile related.

Anyone encountered this and/or know of a solution?

This is a known problem with Microsoft Photo Editor, so you have to elevate the users permissions on a specific Registry Key
