Produt key format on microsoft support

A

ADO

I enter the microsoft xp home product key sent to me by a reseller in the
microsoft support website, and it says it is either invalid, or in the wrong
format.

What is the correct format to enter a product key on the microsoft support
website?

12345-12345-12345-12345-12345 ?

The reseller thinks im tryiing to get a free product key, but ive tried
their stupid product key they sent me 30 times, and now i just entered it in
the microsoft support and it says it is invalid. They are threatening me
with court, but I just want to be able to use windows, and not get ripped off!

Without more info we can't help. Give us the history as to why you are
entering this key. Did you do a format & reload? With what installation
media, where are you getting this key from?

The XP disk you bought from a reseller didn't come with the CD when you
bought it? Who is threatning to sue you over this? Sounds like a scam. Did
you buy this online?
