produce a table of rejected records

I want to import text files into Access and validate the content. I then want
to produce a table showing rejected records.
I imported the original table, copied its structure, set up the validation
and did an append query into the revised table. This worked ok, but I want to
see the rejected records in a separate table.

Ideas?

I'd use the Find Unmatched query wizard to get the records in the original
table that aren't in the new one.
