Processes and Firewall

My firewall shows a process called "Generic Host Process for Win32 services"
running. Is it normal for this process to be running?

Also a services called Logon.scr comes up if the security is set to the
highest. Is this normal?

One other question about firewalls. Most firewall programs there is a graph
that shows in incoming and outgoing (inbound/outbound) net activity. Is it
normal for there to ever be an outgoing activity (except for uploading)?
Cause I have regularly seen the "out" to also be active during web surfing.

My antivirus, antispyware and patches are up-to-date.

Regards,

Mike
