problems

Since I installed Beta 2 I have had nothing but problems.

I've removed it but the problems continue.

After about 10 minutes my system freezes and I have to cold boot.

I run XP prof sp2 with all the updates. I've removed a number of programs
that might be causing problems but nothing clears it up. I run AVG, spybot,
ad-aware, counterspy and nothing shows up.

From what I've read in these newsgroups the problem is being caused by
windows defender. I feel that there is some file, probably a dll file that's
running that's causing the problem. Is there anyway to get a list of all the
files that defender puts on the computer so I can get rid of it?

I'm interested in any possible solution for cleaning up my machine.

Have you considered using Ccleaner which is a very good free cleanup utility
available from:

http://www.ccleaner.com/

Then again there is this but read the info carefully before using:
