What error message do you get? Port 3389 is the only port that needs to be
open.

Hi Tahir!

Remote Desktop uses Port 3389.
Open the port in the firewall if it is the build-in firewall in XP that you
use.

Log on as administrator to XP from 2000, with administrator password.
If you use another user account, remember to give access for that account.

Remember to activate Remote Desktop in: Control Panel \ System \ Remote \
Remote Desktop ( mark the check-box ).

Remember to use internal IP and not external since you are working in a
closed network enviroment.

Try this first and return later if this doesn't work.
