Problems with the control keys

I have this problem that when i am using graphic tools like
adobe illustrator or macromedia flash i have to hold downn
the ctrl, alt or shift keys for long periods. Every time i
do so the keys get stuck. What i mean is that any one or
more of these keys even after releasing acts as pressed. I
have tried looking at the accessibility options and
disabling all, but i could not find the solution. I cannot
work like this, even if i close the tools the windows acts
as they are continously pressed. I have to logoff and the
then log back again to undo that. Now i have difficulty in
using these or any other tools that require often such keys
to be held down for long. Any help would appreciated, Thank
you.

Hi,

This may be to do with SickyKeys - a part of the Accessibility options in
XP. I've noticed your problem myself when holding down the SHIFT key whilst
trying to think of what to type :)

To disable this, go to Start | Control Panel | Accessibility, and you can
either change the options or turn the feature off completely.

Hope this helps.
