Good morning I have mapp a folder like virtual disc through command "SUBST",
in a Server Windows 2003 that carries out the functions of DC and Server
Terminal Services, I have noticed a sure slowing down of the machine after to
use of SUBST. I loked for in web some advice for the use of Subst in Windows
2003 but i didn't find anything.
I'd want to know if this command can generate any problems.
Thanks to all.
Sorry for my English.

subst is somewhat old and rarely used stuff included mainly for
compatibility reasons, so we cannot be sure, if it can cause problems on one
or the other way especially in Terminal Server mode.
Couldn't you use net use instead?
