Problems with shutting down xp

I recently upgraded my computer, as well as had a new xp installed. When I
am in other programs like wintv, when I exit the win tv my computer freezes,
also I have a game called mexican train and when I exit that my computer
freezes. I have the sims on my computer and the computer freezes when I exit
that game too. Any suggestions about a solution to this. All the upgrading
and installing was done by Professionals ( i think they were) in the store.

Have you installed all the latest patches/updates for those programs? Have
a look in the Event Viewer for any Errors - if found could you please post
the Source and Event ID?

Hey there:

Sorry I am not to sure what you mean by the event viewer. I did download al
the latest drivers for all my hardware and software.
