Problems with MUI

Hi folks

I have a problem using the MUI, for italian language, on WinXPe
With the original english image version, the Standards Menu Shortcuts works fine, but with the MUI resources the FBA don't translate correctly in italian language the names of subdirectories sited in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu.
In other words, "Start Menu" would be translate in "Menu Avvio" and also all programs shortcuts, but after reboot the system display the "All Programs" empty. Why happened this? Is exist a workaround to resolve this problem

Help me please! Thanks a lot

Paolo

Paolo,

Did you add the "English Language Support" and "International Control Panel" components to your image configuration?

Also, from MUI LP RelNotes: " Certain start menu items such as Accessories will always appear in English even on run-time images
where MUI language resources were applied.".

Also, read this thread:

And search for more:

Btw, you may want to add this QFE if you have not yet done so:

Paolo,

I am glad it solved your problem.

However, I am not really sure about your next question. What exactly procedure you're talking about? Including missing components or
what?

Thanks KM for your suggestions!

As you said, from MUI LP RelNotes this behaviour results as a knowed bug, but after I have installed also the english MUI resource
and changed the language at runtime through the control panel, the system works fine.
