problems with msconfig

I have an error message which appears when I try to open msconfig - "memory access violation in module kernel32 at 6952:98546831". The number in fact changes each time you try to open it

I cannot load Norton anti virus as a result of this.

This appears to be the Swen Virus that's why you probably
can't load Nortons. Go to the Symantec Site and download
the removal tool from there. Perhaps do an online scan
whilst you're there to check the system to make sure that
it's Swen and then you can download the correct removal
tool. Good luck
Sorry don't have the links handy at this computer.
