Problems with maintaining already functional website

Hi there,
I have recently taken over the maintenance of the website of a local
organisation. The site was professionally designed, so I don't want to
change the design, just the content. I do this using Frontpage. After
making my changes the new page looks fine, but when I upload it onto the
website, I find there is a change in te back graound colour of the body of
the page and changes in the appearance of some of the menu items in the LHS
of the page. Everything functions normally. I have tried to contact the
designer without success. Can anyone help me to avoid these changes I'm
making and to correct the appearance changes on the website.
Thanks,

I also meant to ask what specific "changes" in color, etc., you are
referring to, from what-to-what, so we have something to go on.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be obscure. If you look at the website, you will see
that the page News and Events, plus KCC are different in basic colour
scheme from the others. The standard scheme has a dark green banner and a
light green body. In "News and Events" the body is dark green the same as
the banner. Also, the menu down the LHS of the page has dark or black text
in the standard scheme with current page showing red, in the "News and
Events" page, the menu is multi coloured.
Thanks for your help.

Your pages were built in tables with different cell/table background colors for each section
- apply the same table structure to your new pages

Yes, the pages are built in tables and I can select a cell and confirm the
background colour while the page is on my computer and open with Frontpage
Express, but when the page is uploaded to the website it reverts to the
colour you see. These are not new pages as such, but pages where I have
removed out of date content and replaced it with new content. Similar
problems with the menu font colours.
Thank you,
Jane
