I have an older computer that is using Windows XP, and it has IE 6.0 and MSN
Explorer. I can not access any HTTPS sites using these two programs. I have
downloaded Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7, and can access any HTTPS sites that I want.
Is this an encryption problem, or can someone help me with this issue.

John,
I did everything on this list, and I still can not gain access to any
HTTPS sites. Do you have any other suggestions, or can you point me in
another direction.

If I were you at this point, I'd suspect a browser hijacker.
Download and run the program "HijackThis" at
<http://www.merijn.org/index.html>
Generate a system scan and submit it to
http://www.hijackthis.de

Hijack this will show everything that could even remotely hijack your
browser and 99% of what it finds are good things. Delete items with
caution. Research them before you delete them.

HTH,
John
