Problems when installing .net framework

HDI

Hi,

After installing programs I got a few framework errors and decided to
reinstall them.
All of them are removed and run the clean up utility.

But when installing 3.5 sp1 I got a general error, same with 2.0 sp2,
no message.
When I install 2.0 I got the message microsoft.visualbasic.vba.dll is
used by another process.

Strange because there is no framework installed.

Can anyone help me to install it?

1. Numbering of the various .NET packages is independent of
the numbering of XP's SP1 through SP3.
2. First items to verify for your problem may be:
-- Update of the OS (SP3.)
-- Up-to-date MS Installer software (probably prerequisite for
SP3, likely also prerequisite for other OS packages since SP3.)

Not sure exactly what you have done, and in what order.
Follow the OPTION B procedure here, in its entirety:
http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=44591&p=235366#p235366

Be sure to close ALL programs including those running in the background
before starting the procedures.
