Problems w/ DHCP after netware install/uninstall

hello,

im looking for a little help and im a bit of a novice. I
have a Toshiba Tecra s1 running Win2k SP5. One of my co-
workers accidentally installed the NWLink IPX/Netbios
Client for Netware networks on it. After rebooting the
laptop, it wouldnt aquire a DHCP IP addr from the
firewall. Also, no connectivity to ANY dial-up ISPs. I
have tried to remove the client via the network
connections dialogs. The client no longer shows up as
being installed, but still no DHCP. All adapters (dial-up,
and ethernet) aquire the internal "autoconfigured" IP
addrs as if there was no NAT based firewall, or similar. I
can force the static IP addr so that it will be on the
same subnet as all the rest of my computers so that
intranet resources (server, printers, etc) can be shared.
I can even successfully ping the firewall. However, any
attempt at aquireing an externall sourced IP (via dhcp,
PPPoE, etc) fails and this computer wil not connect to the
internet. I found a few lines in my autoexec.nt file which
still had NWLink script, so i have "REM'd" them to no
avail. Im trying to stay away from a win2k
format/reinstall because i have many programs on there
which i cant replace (lost the source CDs)

If anyone can help me on this, id really appreciate it.
ive been pulling hairs out for 4 days over this.

Justin
