Problems to print with network-printers

G

Giuliano

Hi to all !!

I've this problem - I use some clients machine to
connected it via TS from to a W2K- SERVER .
Sometimes the sames machines are using also in the local
network inside the office where is the W2K-SERVER.
Now when the machine is in local-network i MUST use the
network printers and the client-machine DON'T project his
network printer in the W2K-SERVER -

How can i print with the client-machine in NETWORK-
PRINTERS ( if i use LPT printers works all OK ).

Thanks in advance.

You can use the Net Use command to map a LPT port to an IP address.

Alternatively, I suggest using a third party utility such as Simplify
Printing from triCerat to automatically recognize any printers installed on
a client workstation.

Hope this helps,
