Save your presentation to your HD and then copy it to your CD

What software are you using that allows you to save files to your CD-R? For
example, Nero came with my computer, and it includes software that allows
you to save files to CD "just as to a hard drive." I didn't install it,
though, so I can't tell you what it's called. (I generally find that those
"save to CD" options are just asking for trouble, so I don't even install
them anymore.)

Whatever it is that allows you to save to CD, well, you might have to ask
whoever makes that software. But with the eror messages saying the folder is
marked as Read Only, you can try opening My Documents, navigating to the
folder where your PPT file is saved on your hard drive, right-clicking, and
unchecking the "read only" option. You might need to do that on both the
folder and the PPT filt itself.
