Problems projecting videos

I have a presentation that contains several mpeg and avi videos. I have set
up the videos to play within their own windows on the slide (they are not
full screen) so that I can also have text on the same slide. They play fine
on my computer screen but when I plug into a projector and project the
presentation the mpeg videos project in full screen. The avi videos play
correctly (within their own window). All the videos play correctly on the
computer screen and when you get to a slide with a mpeg video only the
projected image switches over to full screen.

Any suggestions?
