Problems opening CD

I am trying to open various files on a CD that I purchased. Whenever I click
on a file I get the followinng message "This file does not have a program
associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the
folders options control panel." However, I am unable to determine where the
associated programs are in the folder options control panel are. Can you help

file name extensions theThree or 4 Letters AfterTheDot.ext ?

Why do you *believe* that. These files either have that extension or
they don't have. If that extension applies, install the free Adobe
Acrobat Reader.
