comp hardware configuration", but dosn't move off that screan. How do I
install windows from the Bios?

Also I can not open windows normally anymore, when I try it just reboots!!!!
I have tried everything that I know how to do, I am lost please help

Well you dont install xp from the BIOS...You probably mean to install or re-
install xp in DOS,at start up enter the BIOS (usually by tapping delete key
or F1,
select to boot to cdrom with xp cd installed (priority boot device or
similiar),once
at xp cd boot menu, select install xp,new copy, delete the partition, create
one,
then xp formats and installs auto.

Ok, I tried to do what you said , I was able to open the BIOS menu but then
after that where do I go?? I can not get the cd to run, it pauses on "Setup
is inspecting your comp hardware configuration" and will not bring up the
boot menu. Is theie a way around this? Can I run the disk from the Bios? and
also delete the partition,create one?
