Problems Converting 2003 Org chart to smartart in 2007

I opened an org chart created in 2003 into 2007 and it looked fine. However,
when I try to edit it I am prompted to convert it to smartart. When I do
that, the beautiful formatting disappears and several of the layers are not
converted properly, and I am unable to add an assistant. That option is
grayed out. Any suggestions?

Well, I encounter such things before. If I want to save my 2007
presentation to 2003 presentation, smartart will in disorder. So don't
try to use the save as feature. You could download PowerPoint viewer
or powerpoint campatiblity pack. So your 2007 presentation will be
shown well no matter what PowerPoint 2007 installed on not.
Alternatively, you could convert your presentation to flash (http://
snipurl.com/ppt2flash), so all the SMart and other animations will be
retained in the flash movie.
