Problem

Yeah... I have a little problem with the fact that this
program, while "Quarantining" KaZaA, removed all of my
mp3s... I quickly quit the program but it ran in the
background until i finally ctrl+alt+deleted it. I don't
even use KaZaA anymore, I use soulseek... Anyways, I am
now down 5000 files, and 6 months of downloading 3 albums
each day... rare, hard to find stuff too...

I recovered 200 files with various other restore tools.
Somebody disabled my microsoft system restore so that is
out of the question. I feel like bombing these guys now,
this is just awful...

Anything at all I can do?

Alex,

Go to Tools--->Spyware Scan--->Manage Spyware Quarantine. Reports form
others in the NG's indicate it may take several hours to make recoveries.
You may wish to let it run overnight.

Then you should have told it to ignore KaZaA. Or buy music through
Napster or music.msn.com

I have exactly the same problem, every mp3, avi jpg and
Mpeg within my Kazaa shared folder disappeared.

I tried to restore them from the Quarantine but nothing
came back.

I tried the system restore technique. The restore point
was 5 days B4 I installed teh software but didnt retrieve
any MP3's.

I believe that the data is in the quarantine folder in
another file which has a load of numbers and letters. I
have tried everything to get the files restored but am at
a loss. Is there a program that we can use to restore
them?

Please help

Thank you
