Problem With Windows Picture and Fax Viewer

Hi, this is my first post (so I'm hoping i'm in the right place).

Here goes, I know theres been a lot of posts and topics about this but mine is a little different. I use PAFV to view images/photos and have set up photoshop to be the default editor for pictures, if (when the image is loaded up in PAFV) i right click>edit it opens PS, however, if I click the "edit" button at the bottom of PAFV it closes the image and doesn't load PS. Does anybody know how I could fix it and what the problem might be?
