Problem with Windows Live Mail

O

oldman

I am having a problem with Windows Live Mail.

After Windows Live mail has been opened and then closed, the next time
I try to open Live mail again the hour glass appears for a while but
the mail does not open. So far my only solution is to open task
manager and then kill the wlmain.exe process. If I kill the one with
the most memory then all of the others get killed. If the open fails
there are at least two wlmail.exe processes running depending upon how
many times I tried to open Live mail. Once wlmail.exe has been killed
I can close taskmgr and then click on the Live Mail icon and it will
reopen successfully. This problem first appeared when I upgraded to
the latest release of LiveMail v 2009 (Build 14.0.8064.0206).

Does anyone have a solution to this problem. I would hate to have to
remove Live Mail and then loose all of my messages saves in the
storage folders.

Thanks,

oldman

Your best bet for assistance with this problem, is to post to the correct
newsgroup, this one is for Windows Mail in Vista.
For Windows Live Mail, please use:
