problem with vista installation

Hi
When i boot from the vista dvd, it starts loading files.. but after a minute
or so it stops and the screen is toned down.. How do i boot correctly?

I am having a slightly different problem. I am attempting to update Vista
Beta 2 and everything goes ok then this message pops up.
"Windows cannot copy files required for Installation. Make sure files are
available<clip>. Error Code 0x8007045D"

Downloaded the 64 bit version and burned to CD using Windows XP Home, and
Roxio 6 Disk Burner. Have tried several times to boot in the upgrade mode.

This is a dual boot machine with XP on one partition and Vista Beta 2 on
another.

System is an AMD 64 bit 3200 CPU with 1 Gig of RAM. Hard drive is SATA 320
gigs with an older 80 gig as backup.
