Problem with USB pen drive

Hello,

I've bought a verbatim pen drive 4gb. I've plugged into my notebook and
is ok. Also into my home pc. When i plug into my work pc driver was
found, but in MyComputer when i try to access to it I see no files and
if I try to move a file a get a permission problem. Unable to write any
file.

My pendrive is not protected with any software.
I've tried to remove usb device and storage and detect again but same
problem. Also on many others pcs in my office.

Investigating with my friend I've found that sometimes also my friend's
pendrive many times don't work in some pcs and works in some others...


How can I debug/solve this problem?

Sure not, because, PCs are not part of a domain, and there's no local
policy applied.

There was a thread about something similar a while ago. It turned out
that the OP had quotas inadvertently enabled on his usb flash drive.
Check and see if that is your case.

the quota settings in XP:

No quota problem. I've found this in my event viewer:

ErrorID: 51
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\D during a paging
operation

That's very strange! There's no paging on USB storage...
