Problem with two NICs

I have a pc with windows 2000 professional. It has 2 nics
that access two separate networks. Everything is working
fine. My problem is that on a pc other than the one with
2 nics, I can see the workgroups from the other network.
And I am assuming that they can see mine. It is almost
like the pc with 2 nics is acting like a hub. But I
cannot view any deeper than seeing the workgroups. Is
there any way to stop the other computers, on both
networks, from seeing each other.

Browsing workgroups across subnets is problematic and multihomed machines
have some known issues with browsing. See 191611 Symptoms of Multihomed
