problem with text when applying slide masters

Can anyone tell me why when I apply a master slide from the design template
it doesn't put my text boxes in the right location? So everytime I have text
and bullets on my slide when I apply the template the graphics and the
bullets get put in but the title and bullets end up being the wrong size and
in the wrong place.

Can you tell us a bit more, please:

- Which version of PowerPoint do you use?
- Which layout do you use for those slides?
- How do you try to apply the master, design or template?
- Did you create that template yourself or is it one of the built-in ones?

Is your text in placeholders?

You may need to apply the slide layout -- Format | Slide Layout -- and
sometimes twice after switching masters or templates to get it to "take" on
a particular slide.
