Problem with sound

I have inserted a sound clip that is 1:30 sec in lengeth, when I play it in
normal view, it plays right through, but when I play it in Slide Show view it
only plays 40 sec.

Does any one know why, and how I can fix it ??

In your animation task pane, click on the drop down menu for your sound.
Select Effect Options. Next to Stop Playing, write in the appropriate number
of slides. Also, make sure each of your slides' transition settings are set
to "Advance Automatically."
