Problem with sharing

Operating a peer to peer network tcp/ip with all machines
(4) using Windows XP. Last week I had to reinstall
windows on one maching. Since then, even though I am
signed in as an administrator with unlimited authority I
am unable to drill down into
C:\doc&settings\servername\my documents. I can get into
other directories at that level but not this one.
When I go into manage the shares I do not get the full
range of options. This makes me think the machine does
not see me as an administrator, have signed in under
three different names with administrator authority all
with the same result. Any Help out there??????

Can you take ownership of this directory ?

No. There is no Security tab on that directory however
there is on other directories at the same level. Also, I
note that there is no security tab on the c drive when
operating from the subject machine. ie c:\ properties
only lists General, tools, hardware, sharing, Quota. No
Security tab.
