Problem with second hard drive accessing files

R

Robert

I installed a second hard drive & was my main one & then upgraded to a new
one & using the old one as slave. I had my hard drive password protected.
When I log in & all using win xp pro & I can read the contents of the drive
but certain files in docs and setting it says cant access cause of locked or
pass protected & I went back to take the pass out form logging in on the
slave & went back as slave drive & same thing. I need my email & all & can't
get it off is there a way to get pass protected files off it? I don't know
how to un do that drive & take the pass protected files out. I added it in
the users in control panel & asked me if I wanted to protect files when I
made it & now want to undo that.

Thanks

Hi Robert,

You probably simply need to "take ownership":
