Problem with RT errors when passing over web page buttons

Hello all. I have tried fixing the problem through MS, to no avail. I tried everthing they have suggested but I'm still getting both: Runtime error; line 162; 'Tagname' Null or Not an Object & Runtime error; Line 171; 'Tagname' Null or not an Object

This is showing up on many webpages (including Hotmail) when moving a cursor over or clicking a button. MS has suggested re-installing IE 6 (wont allow it) and re-installing XP pro (did not help) Anyone have any ideas?

For the third time, it happens when ever I run the cursor over any buttons that are not listing
a drop down menu {although, the choices in the drop down menus do have the issue}i.e.: Delete, Send, Block, find, mark as unread, mail message, greeting card, folder, contact, group, report junk e-mail, report & block sender, all "put in folder" choices, save draft, etc.

It happens most frequently in the new form of Hotmail, but also shows up on other websites.

I run Win XP Pro (3rd time explaining this)Once again (3rd time given) is the IE version
