Problem with reports

When creating or even opening reports in access the program stalls for about
30 seconds before completing the command. This is especially frustrating when
in design view, as any change is followed by 30 seconds of waiting to see if
it worked. My laptop is relatively powerful and runs all other 07 programs
without a problem. Any hints?

Does your laptop have a "Default Printer" designated?

One possibility is that Access is trying to figure out how the (?printer's?)
formatting will affect the display?

My laptop does have a default printer selected. Changing the default to
"Send to Onenote" seems to have done the trick. Thanks!!
