Problem with reinstalling windows xp home

Hi,

I tried to reinstall Windows XP home edition in my laptop. With just
13 minutes left for the installation to complete, the system hanged.
Now its about 8 hrs, the system is still processing. Please advice.

Hi:

For sure it can not take you 8 hours to install a windows XP home in a
computer. Try to make a clean instalation, formating the logical unit, were
are you going to install it. I suspect of a problem in one sector of your
HDD.

Let us know how it goes.
