Problem with re-installing XP and trying to recover a XP installation

Hi,

I have quite a serrious problem and was wondering if
anyone could help.

I installed Windows XP on a New Celleron 2.2GHZ machine,
after installing all other microsoft products everything
was running ok, I left my machine running for about an
hour using the windows screensaver that uses the MY
Pictures folder. When I returned I found a blue screen
ending its dump, I did not see the error, while restarting
there were several power failures one after the other
causing the following dumps that occured not to finish.

when the power was back to normal I tried to re-boot,
first using safe mode, I got to a black screen and then
the machine would re-boot by itself, I then tried Last
known good configuration which did the same thing and
then, I recieved the error :
Windows could not start because of an error in the software
Please report this problem as :
load needed DLL's for kernel.
Please contact your support person to report this problem.


After this I tried to boot from the original CD which gave
me the error during boot up (it never gets past the kernel
Debugger dll stage) :
File \i386\KDCOM.DLL could not be loaded.
The error code is 4

Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.



Please HELP AS I AM Desperate and do not know what to do.
