Problem with Power Point Presentation

Has anyone solved the problem of Inserting sound from Windows Media into
their presentation. I have music that I want to play through a presentation
and save it to my hard drive and I do not want to use a CD or external flash
drive

Where did the song come from? If you used Windows Media Player to "rip" it
from CD then it contains DRM (Digital Rights Management) and you will not be
able to use it in PowerPoint.
