Problem with offline synchronisation

W

Werner Pertl

Hello everyone,

got a a problem with offline synchronisation on one workstation.

When I try to make a folder on a share available offline I get the following
error message:

Offline Files (\\Server\Company on Server). Unable to make "Folder"
avaliable offline on \\Server\Company. The system is currently running with
the last-known-good configuration.

The system is not running in last-known-good configuration. Have disabled
offline files then enabled again, deleted cached files and so on.

The Problem only exists on one computer, on another computer the
synchronisation of a folder in the same share works without a problem.

Trying the same on another share works without a problem on both computers.

The workstation is running Windows XP SP2, the Server is running SBS 2003.

Please help :))

Thank you very much in advance!

Werner

Hi Werner,

Thanks for your postings.
Please try to run with the following KB to restart CSC cache and Offline
file database on the Windows XP client:

How to Restart the Offline Files Cache/Database (230738)

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;230738

Let's check if rebuild CSC database can help to resolve the problem.

Sincerely,
Carsyn Gu
