Problem with media center.

I recently purchased a computer with media center 10 on it. I transferred
all my music from old computer but everytime I try to play anthing iy says
the it encountered a problem and needs to close. I have a choice at bottom
to send error report or don't sent. no matter which i choose the media player
shuts down and I don't get to hear my music. How can I get this to not
happen.
Previously I was getting a message about the music being copied and I needed
to download a license, Every time I clicked the place that said to download
a license nothing ever happened. I am seriously considering on getting rid
of this media player and getting the older version I had on old computer.
