Problem with mail merge to Access

I'm having a problem trying to run a mail merge from Word
2000. My database is in Access 97 but everytime I try to
start a mail merge Word tries to open it in Access 2000.
Is there a way around this? Maybe this is a question for
the Word group.

Give my word merge a try.

It will solve that problem..and about another dozen bugs and problems you
can encounter while doing a merge. My code just simply works.....

Give my sample a try...and see how well it solves the above.
