problem with maccess

created a database using previous version of maccess
before installing the moffice version 2000 which includes.
the problem im facing now is, im not able to run the
program that needs to use the access because it can't
convert or enable MDE file? im not an expert in this and i
need you help desperately because im on attachment with
this company im working now. but besides the version 2000,
in the computer they also have microsoft office 2000 small
business. i tried unstalling the version 2000 and retain
the small group version. does it got anything to do with
the macros? how do i go about with it?

Nur,

I think your only options are:

1. Install onto the computer the same version of Access which the
database was created in.
2. Obtain the original .mdb file that the .mde was created from, and
you should be able to open this within Access 2000, and then if
required, convert it to Access 2000 format and re-save as an .mde.
