Problem with LAN configuration at home...

Andy Gallako

Hi,

lately I've bought the DSL router DLink DI-624.
I've got 2 PC'c and one laptop that can access to internet successfully.

But: the 3 computers don't see each other. I want to configure a small
LAN at home.

What should I do to connect the PC's over the DSL router?
Ideas appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Andy

1) in the router, block ports 137, 138 and 139
2) install the NetBEUI protocol
3) put all machines in the same workgroup
4) share something on each machine (other than the
default C$)
