Problem with Internet explorer

My internet explorer works intermittantly. Explorer sometimes does not
respond and I get the following error messages.

Fault bucket 337148017.
Thursday, February 08, 2007 Applicatio n Hang Hanging application
iexplore.exe, version 7.0.5730.11, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang
address 0x00000000.
Also I can get to Yahoo.com.au but am unable to search the web from there.

Can someone help

Hi John,

1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click OK to close the IE properties.

Also Run Disk CleanUp on your Partition (C:\) and check all Boxes to clear
Temp on your Drive.

Then Open a run command and re-register these DLLs:
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll
2... You need to be sure your system is clean from malwares and Viruses by
scanning for them.

3- You can test your memory by running Memtest to be sure the memory are
Okay and not bad:
