Problem with games returning to desktop

Over the last few days, I have played Links 2003,
Championship Bass, HH2004 Baseball, and FIFA SOCCER(EA).
While in the process of playing, all of a sudden, something
in the computer is taking me out of the game and returning
me to the desktop. I do have a pop up stopper program, but
I also removed that and it still did the same thing. Can u
help me solve this problem ? thank You

Hi John,

Yours is the 2nd post in as many hours that states that the
games stopped working just recently. I hope there isn't
an auto update either from Windows Updates, or Security
suite which is causing this. Here's what I would try first...

Use Win XP's System Restore to return your system to a previously stable date:
