Problem with explorer.exe

Hello, I have been experiencing a weird problem with some
of the PCs in my Cyber Cafe. I have Windows 2000
Professional in all of them and each has all the latests
service packs. I periodically run Norton
Antivirus, AdAware 6.0, Registry Mechanic, Bazooka and Spy
Sweeper to keep all the machines clean. I only have
Microsoft products installed and some games like Counter
Strike and Need for Speed installed.

When I want to gain access to the Control Panel to make
some minor changes, like for example the velocity of the
cursor, I get a message that explorer.exe has generated an
error and the application will be terminated. It does so
and then my desktop resets. This is pretty annoying
because I do not have access to the Control Panel and
everything tells me that I do not have any infections
wahtsoever.

Can anybody please please help me?

Thank you very much.

Rafael

Using MORE and MORE anti-virus softwares and cleanup
softwares do nothing but just mess up your own system
files.
I prefer on not using any third-party softwares. Use only
one anti-virus, and for your clients who visit your
cybercafe, give them a restricted user's account for
normal surfing and acces of applications lik word, excel,
etc.etc.
Solution to your this problem is, reinstall your 2000.
