Problem with DVD Drives

Windows XP Pro with SP1

I'm having a slight problem with both my Sony DVD drive and my Sony
Multiformat DVD RW drive.

Using Windows Explorer, when I insert a disk, what used to happen was that
the drive would read the disk and display the name of the disk on the left
hand side and display the contents on the right side. Which I presume is
normal.

Now for some reason, nothing happens until I actually click on the disk
drive icon, when it then displays the contents on the right but still
doesn't display the disk name on the left. It will display the CD
directories oin the left.

If I take out the CD, the information is still displayed, which I am fairly
sure used to be automatically reset ?

On inserting another CD, the information still does not change until I click
on the disk icon.

Then the information on the right hand side changes but the directories
(empty) on the left still remain and the new directories are added to them
??

I have both drives set up to autoplay but this does not appear to be working
either ???
I have also run Kelly's 'Enable CD autoplay for Pro' with no effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open my computer and right click on the CD/DVD drive.
Review the autoplay tab and verify the correct settings for
all the differenct media types.
