G'day,
I first posted this message on 10 March but 13 days has passed without any
assistance from anybody. Here's the message again. Hope I get some help this
time. If not please advise, how I can get assistance for my problem.
I have just had a strange encounter with the display setting on my XP SP2
HE. My system had been evaded by some malware and spywares and I downloaded
several softwares to deal with this problem, namely, AdAware, Spybot Search &
Destroy, ewido anti-malware, Microsoft Windows Defender beta 2 and Trend
Micro Anti-spyware.
After installing the last program, Trend Micro Anti-spyware, and scanned my
system (in the process several spywares were removed), I re-started my PC.
Upon startup, my screen somehow was on the 640x480 display setting. As I
recall, minimum default setting is 800x600 unless I make a custom selecting
from the Advance tab. I tried resetting to my oirginal setting of 1024x768
but the system could not re-set - not even to 800x600.
Could anyone help me on this, please. Thank you.
