Problem with default user profile permissions (event 1509)

Hi,

I'm on a Windows TS2003 setup and have a problem with local
permissions. Eventid 1509 keeps popping up:

"Windows cannot copy file <file> to location <location path>.
Possible causes of this error include network problems or insufficient
security rights. If this problem persists, contact your network
administrator.

DETAIL - Access is denied"

This appears on Office 2003 shortcuts which are in the
local Default User\..\Quicklaunch profile on the particular server.

I noticed that these Office icons have a different set of
security assigned, as opposed to the other icons in the same
Quicklaunch folder, ie. Internet Explorer or Hide Desktop.

The security on the Office icons are simply:

- Local admin account
- Local admin group
- SYSTEM

...wheras for instance IE has \Everyone and Local\Users
and \Powerusers set as well.

Also, an attempt to install Lotus Notes client 6.51 failed
seemingly because it wasn't able to update the userprofiles,
possibly due to a permission problem.

I would greatly appreciate any help or tip on the matter, as
I am at a loss to how the problem could have occured.
