Problem with converting an Access 97 database to Access 2007

I'm trying to convert a database from Access 97 to Access 2007. I get a
message box that states "You are trying to covert an encoded database. Decode
the database, and then try again. To protect the coverted database, use the
Encrypt with Password command." I don't know how to decode a database. I
don't even know what that means. I would appreciate any help.

Thank You

Do you have to have access 2000 or access 2003 for converting the access 97
file? I don't have the other versions of access. I had access 97 and then
just upgraded to access 2007. I didn't have any problems with the other mdb
files in access 97. There was only one file that won't covert.

This is an MDB file.

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

Have you tried opening a blank database and importing all tables, forms...
from the exisitng db.

Thank you for your response. I was able to import the file items, but it
still did not covert to the 2007 version. Is there another step that I should
take. It doesn't recognize some of the commands that I had put in the module
under the 2007 version. So the database forms are working properly.

Thanks for the help.
