Problem with Concord Duo LCD

Hi!

I have a Compaq Duo LCD camera, and I lost the driver disk.

When I install the correct driver online, it says something like this:

"This driver is not signed. You should only install software from
manafacturers you trust."

I trust the manafacturer (Concord), and I clicked on Run.

When I started my computer, with the camera plugged in via USB, it said
"Operating system not found".

When I unplug the camera and restarted my computer, my laptop works.

Running Windows XP Service Pack 2 with IE 7.

Where can I get a TRUSTED driver that won't affect my computer and settings?

Thank you in advance.

There are two separate issues here. The first is that a "Trusted" driver
means one that has been certified by Microsoft. And that is all it means.
Overall, it has little significance if the developer for the device does
not wish to pay Microsoft for the "certification" process or the program
is far ahead of Microsoft's ability to certify it in time. Download the
driver and install it, per instructions of the camera manufacturer. As a
general rule, one should always trust the device manufacturer for driver
files before downloading a similar driver file from Microsoft.

As for the computer problem, if the laptop starts without the camera
attached, then all is fine. It would appear that the laptop looks at the
camera's memory card as being the boot device.
