Problem with collection access

I dug in a created a great movie last night using video clips and stills from
a vacation CD. I imported all of the files needed for my movie into my
collection, which I see is stored on the C: drive. Now, when I take the CD
out, none of the clips are available and the storyboard is filled with Xs and
titles...even though they are on my C: drive.

Any suggestions?

I have saved this movie onto my computer (using the default setting), but am
having the same problem as someone else on the list with the colors being
reversed.

Did your collection already exist before you added the files from the CD?
Chances are you imported the files into the "project" but that was all.
Imnporting only set a pointer to where the files are - it doesn't actually
copy or move the files. I suggest copying the files from your CD to your
harddrive before importing them. Since you already imported them from the CD,
go ahead and copy them to your harddrive as stated earlier but then go to
each of your clips with the red X, double click it, click YES to browse for
it, navigate to the folder where it resides on the harddrive, then click
open. This assumes you did not change the file name.
